A Sunday always comes with blues, in this part of the world. With parents around, the weekend is hectic but we are truly enjoying our time with them, especially visiting a lot of families, whom otherwise I wouldn’t have gone to see, not because I don’t want to, but somehow finding time for it never seems to happen. In the time where Whassup and FB Messenger dominates, the touch of seeing people personally and talking face to face has a charm of its own, isn’t it? Thinking that everything will come to an end next Saturday till they decide to come on their next visit, makes me feel really sad, but then… We have to learn to take life on a daily basis, right?
Sharing with all my lovely readers a simple smoothie – it’s a vegan smoothie as soya milk is used but feel free to substitute with regular milk as you wish. Of late, I seem to be a little bend towards using raw sugar in my food – have a nice flavor that white sugar can’t give you! With pineapple and strawberries available at a very good price in the market now, no better time to blitz them together and enjoy!

- 1 pineapple, chopped
- 8 strawberries
- 330 ml soya milk
- 3 tbsp raw sugar
- Blitz all ingredients till smooth.
- Serve immediately!
