Kiwi Watermelon Smoothie

4. Watermelon Kiwi SmoothiePin

How life can turn around… Yesterday I celebrated a life, and today I am sad, as two of my best blogger friends, Humi and Priya lost their mothers, both to cancer. I have been closely following up with them and I am truly saddened by it. Losing parents is the biggest lose in this world, no wonder Allah asks us to value them several times in the Holy Book. May He give both of them the strength to overcome this loss and make them strong… Leaving all of you with a beautiful prayer, that we need to keep doing all the time… Alhamdulillah for everything!

Kiwi is not a fruit I buy frequently, because somehow I can’t stand those little seeds inside. But still, at time, I buy and eat them since I am good with fruits and love to have them frequently. After the Banana Kiwi Smoothie, here is another interesting one with watermelon and with coconut milk (yum!). Since we strain the juice after blitzing it, there are no irritating bites in between, which is a plus point of this smoothie! The combination is lovely to say the least, especially nice for an early morning boost! Off to the recipe…

  7. I too felt really sad when I read that both Priya and Huma have lost their mothers. As much as we feel a bit relieved that they are now free of their pain, parents and loved ones are missed so much. I still miss my mum a lot.
