Pineapple Orange Juice

2- Pineapple Wind-Down Smoothie

You may remember that I had mentioned regarding a relative who had met with an accident. Last night, he passed away after 8 days in the ICU. إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَHe is survived by his wife and a three year old son. May Allah bless him with the best in his Aakhirah… It has been a stressful night and today the hangover is very much there, but then life moves on… Death is a reality, which we cannot deny, it will come to us at the predestined time. There is no age, nationality, status or any other barrier when it comes to death. A human life does not end with death, there is much more life after death and we have to be always prepared for it, including myself…

Coming to today’s recipe… I love to juice a lot. Whenever I find any interesting combinations, I just want to try them or maybe I try to create the combinations, which may not necessarily turn out to be good. In case you wish to see the other juices that are already on the blog, then do check out here! I found this combination in a little handbook I had picked up at a thrift sale, which had a lot of interesting juices and smoothies. The book called this juice as “Pineapple Wind Down Smoothie”. I somehow felt the name was a bit cheesy so went ahead with a straight-forward name. 😉 First of all, there is no sugar in this juice and second of all, the cardamom! It so beautifully marries into the juice that it is a must try, especially for those who love cardamom just like I do…
