I am not used to blogging on Friday, but my fingers were itching to just type in something. That’s why I chose the simplest I could find in my drafts! 😉 I had planned my day while I was having lunch, but then this cozy weather just asked me to sleep for sometime and I ended up sleeping more than an hour! I am still feeling so dizzy out of that sleeping that I thought maybe blogging may wake up and push me towards doing at least what was planned for the remaining day. 🙂
Those who follow me would know how much I love smoothies. This smoothie has two of my favourite fruits – banana and papaya. For me to kept pepped up, I just need one of these fruits. After all, both these fruits are well known for their mood boosting skills. Just blitz them up with some diary and pep it up with flax and you have a super thick smoothie, that will make you feel full and energetic for your remaining day. 🙂 Off to this easy recipe…
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 big slice papaya, peeled and chopped
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tbsp milled flax seeds
- 1 tbsp honey
- Blend all ingredients into a blender till smooth.
- Enjoy immediately!
