For this week’s Blogging Marathon #122 for the theme “Kids Delight – Summer Cooler”, I was in a little confusion as to which recipe to post. That is when my eyes fell on this recipe, I had made for myself and the girls when we had woken up a little late, but we still wanted something for a light breakfast. I am not a person who usually has frozen berries in the freezer, but once we had some delicious mojito from a friend’s house and ever since, my girls are fixated with having frozen berries in our freezer. Hehe…

This one is a very simple yet thick shake. The body comes from of course the frozen berries, chia seeds and yogurt. It is a fairly straight recipe plus quite a healthy one, since there are no extras in it. The thickness of the smoothie keeps you full for a longer period of time. I better not talk about the deliciousness. Hehe… I already have a mixed berry smoothie recipe on the blog, but that was with fresh berries, and is more like a drink that you can serve for your guests, or just have like a mid-afternoon snack. This is the third recipe for this week’s summer cooler theme after the Nannaari Sarbath and the Saudi Champagne.

My son is a fan of smoothies. He prefers it in a bowl than in a glass. I add Peanut butter, oats or even cereal to make it a filling dinner for him! He would love this gods for sure!
