Easy Blender Banana Cake

A really easy banana cake made in a blender…

A big news – I am officially back to being unemployed. 😉 Somehow, I realize that after starting my 40s, I have been struggling to manage the gaps between my expectation vs the companies I have worked for. Though I feel sad that this employment didn’t last as long as I would have wanted it to, I am looking forward to my days ahead. To be frank, it is a scary time ahead. The economy doesn’t look very promising, inflation is the story of the time, everything just seems very bleak. But all we can do is trust the One who has given us this life to get through. This verse is very reassuring, since it just means that whatever is meant for us, will come by our way, in whatever way…

“…And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out, And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him…” (at-Talaq, 65/2-3)

So on the first day I sat at home, I was greeted with a few overripe bananas and my egg tray came with several cracked eggs upon delivery. I was in no mood to discard the bananas, so I had to obviously use it up. My girls are really not into bakes with bananas, but of late, I have seen them being more inclined towards them. I had tried a blender banana cake just some time back, which was polished and didn’t make it to the blog. So, this was the best time to repeat it again and get it over here, plus get a very unaesthetic reel done, which you can watch here. 😉 The best part of this cake is that it comes together in hardly 5 minutes and then the oven will do its task, and by the time it is your chai time, you can have a slice of warm cake to enjoy or save some for the rainy days in to the freezer. 🙂 Maybe, I will go straight into the recipe, and hopefully this is a start to some regular posts on this baby, that is not so little anymore… 🙂 Off to the recipe…
