Ingredients
3/4
cup
plus 2 tbsp whole wheat flour

baking soda
1/2
tsp
baking powder

buttermilk

Instructions
Preheat waffle maker. Whisk together the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Whisk the wet ingredients in another bowl and pour over the dry ingredients.
Fold in till well combined.
Grease the waffle maker if necessary and pour a ladle of batter into each section. Cook till done. Makes 8 waffles.
Notes
I added 1 tsp vinegar to 1 cup of milk, and let it stand for 10 minutes to make my buttermilk.
