Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Keep a roasting pan smeared with a tsp ghee ready.
Wash the salmon steak well and pat dry. Sprinkle salt and pepper on one side of the steak.
Heat a tsp ghee in a frying pan and put the salmon seasoned side down. Ensure the flame is high. Sear for couple of minutes.
During this time, quickly season the top side of the salmon and flip. Allow to sear for another couple of minutes. Switch off.
Transfer the salmon carefully onto the prepared roasting pan. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with boiled vegetables and rice!
