Seared Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs salmon steak
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp ghee

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.  Keep a roasting pan smeared with a tsp ghee ready.
  • Wash the salmon steak well and pat dry. Sprinkle salt and pepper on one side of the steak.
  • Heat a tsp ghee in a frying pan and put the salmon seasoned side down. Ensure the flame is high. Sear for couple of minutes.
  • During this time, quickly season the top side of the salmon and flip. Allow to sear for another couple of minutes. Switch off.
  • Transfer the salmon carefully onto the prepared roasting pan. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with boiled vegetables and rice!
