Ingredients

  • 1 large banana sliced
  • 2 pears chopped
  • 125 gm blueberries
  • 1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

FOR TOPPING

  • 60 gm butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease an 8 inch pan and set aside.
  • Mix the fruits along with the corn flour and sugar and spread on the pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips randomly.
  • Whisk all the wet ingredients together.
  • In another bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients and fold. The batter will be really thick.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter all over the fruits. It is not necessary to cover the top. As it bakes, it will spread.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Take out and allow to cool slightly. Enjoy it warm with cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce or caramel sauce, or even ice cream.
