Mango Cardamom Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 100 gm butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 150 gm all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup chopped mango
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a small loaf pan well.
  • Beat the butter and sugar till fluffy. Add the egg and beat till incorporated.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder and baking soda into the butter mixture. Add the milk and fold in the mixture.
  • Fold in the mango slices and cardamom till done.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or till done.
