Chutney Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken cleaned and cut into medium pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • FOR GRINDING:
  • 1 cup packed coriander including stems
  • 1 cup loosely packed mint leaves
  • 3 green chilies
  • 2 sprigs curry leaves

Instructions

  • Grind the ingredients under "for grinding" till smooth.
  • Heat oil, saute ginger garlic paste.
  • Add in the chicken and toss for three minutes.
  • Add in the ground paste, turmeric, pepper and salt and mix well.
  • Close the lid and cook till chicken is done.
