Whisk the cocoa powder into the almond milk and bring the mixture to heat. Do not boil, just simmer and cook till the cocoa powder is fully dissolved. This is just to avoid the raw taste of cocoa powder.
Switch off and add the sugar and vanilla extract. Allow it to cool.
Put the chia seeds into a container and pour the cooled cocoa milk on top of it. Give it a good whisk and keep overnight in the fridge for puffing up.
Top with berries and serve for breakfast!
