Sweet Punjabi Lassi

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • A fat pinch of cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • Saffron for garnish

Instructions

  • Whisk the yogurt till it gets frothy.
  • Add the milk, water and sugar and whisk till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the cardamom powder and rose water and beat again.
  • Serve cold in tall glasses, garnished with saffron.

Notes

You can replace part or whole of the milk with cold water.
