Heat butter in a saucepan. Melt the butter.
Add the bayleaf and garlic and saute briefly.
Add the onion and saute till wilted.
Add the flour and fry briefly.
Slowly add the milk and whisk till the mixture leaves its lumps and cook till thickens.
Discard the bay leaf. Add in the oregano, parsley, salt and pepper.
Add the boiled macaroni and sausage and toss well to combine. Cook on low flame for five minutes.
Add the cheese and give a good toss.
Switch off and serve hot.
