Easy Stovetop Granola

Ingredients

  • 25 gm butter melted
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 500 gm rolled oats
  • 200 gm mixed nuts and dry fruits
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Heat a large sautéing pan, let it dry completely. Switch off.
  • Combine all the ingredients and toss it well to coat as much as you can.
  • Switch off the flame, keep on medium-low and let the mixture cook. Keep stirring in between to avoid the mixture from burning and reduce the flame if it does. Do not cover the pot.
  • After 30-40 minutes, you will notice the oats flakes getting crisp. Switch off.
  • Spread the granola onto a flat surface and allow it to cool completely. The granola will get crunchier as it sits.
  • Store in an airtight container and use in 10 days time. Store in a dry, cool place. Enjoy with yogurt, milk, pudding or on its own!
