Combine all ingredients except the honey in a saucepan. Mix well and bring to cook on low flame till the mixture boils.
Since raagi takes some time to cook, cook till it gets done.
Switch off the flame and add the honey. Whisk vigorously till well combined.
Pour into mugs, garnish with almonds and enjoy!
Notes
The almond powder is optional. You can skip it but it gives a nice flavor to the drink. You can sweeten the drink with sugar, brown sugar or grated jaggery - the choice is yours! You can even make this with part coconut milk instead of milk.
