Microwave Bread Butter Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6-8 big slices of stale bread
  • 50 gm butter melted
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Toppings of choice - I used 125 gm blueberries and 1/4 cup crushed walnuts

Instructions

  • In a microwaveable glass dish, cut the bread roughly and spread. Pour the melted butter all over.
  • Whisk together the ingredients from milk to vanilla and pour uniformly over the bread.
  • Sprinkle the toppings and the brown sugar.
  • Microwave for 8-10 minutes and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
  • Dig in warm!

Notes

My oven is 900W. Do keep a watch on the microwave to avoid it from drying.
