Mayonnaise Chicken

Ingredients

  • 750 gm chicken cut into medium pcs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 20 gm butter melted
  • For tempering:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 strands curry leaves
  • 2 dry red chillies

Instructions

  • Cook the chicken with ingredients till lime juice till tender.
  • Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, chilli sauce and butter into a smooth paste.
  • Pour into the chicken and cook for further 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, fry the red chillies and curry leaves for a few seconds till done. Pour into the chicken and keep lid closed for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
