Kofte Dejaaj | Middle Eastern Chicken Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500 gm chicken mince
  • 1 slice brown bread
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 small onion
  • A handful of coriander leaves refer notes
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients except oil in a food processor. Blitz the mixture till everything is blend and forms like a dough. Divide the dough into 12-15 balls.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken tossing in between, till done.
  • Serve hot with sides of choice.

Notes

Use parsley instead of coriander for a more authentic flavor.
