Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and flour a small loaf pan and set aside.
Seive the dry ingredients in a bowl.
In another bowl, whisk the condensed milk and melted butter till well combined.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into it.
Then add the milk slowly to make the batter really thick. Do not overmix!
Finally add the rose essence and combine. Transfer to the loaf pan and flatten using a spatula.
Bake for 30 minutes or till skewer comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 15 minutes and then tip onto a cooling rack. Cool completely before slicing.
