Easy Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 3 large apples peeled and chopped
  • 30 gm butter melted
  • 1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • Juice of one lime
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 heaped tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • FOR CRUMB:
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • A dash of cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 30 gm cold butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Keep a small bowl ready.
  • Rub all the ingredients under "for crumb" and keep in the fridge.
  • Peel and chop the apple into small peices. Combine all the ingredients together and mix well.
  • Spread into the bowl. Top with the prepared crumble.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes till the top looks done.
  • Allow to cool for around 10 minutes. Serve warm with cream, ice cream or caramel sauce.
