Coconut Paneer Burfi

A simple and delicious Indian style fudge made of coconut and paneer (cottage cheese)

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ghee plus little for greasing
  • 2 cups grated coconut
  • 200 ml condensed milk
  • A fat pinch cardamom powder
  • 3/4 cup crumbled paneer
  • Nuts for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a saucepan and sauté coconut for a few minutes.
  • Add the condensed milk and cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Add in the cardamom and paneer and cook till the whole mixture comes together.
  • Put into a greased plate and allow to set.
  • Cut into shapes, top with nuts and serve warm or cold.
