Chicken Sausage Cutlets

Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 6 chicken sausages
  • 1 small pc ginger
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 small onion minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • Breadcrumbs as required
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  • Boil the sausages and drain. Grate them using the vegetable grater.
  • Grind the ginger, curry leaves and chillies into a paste without adding water.
  • Combine the mashed potatoes, grated sausages, the ground paste, minced onion, salt and garam masala in a bowl.
  • Mix well till all ingredients are incorporated. Shape into patties.
  • Dip into the beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs. Shallow fry in pan till both sides turn golden brown. Serve warm with ketchup!
