Boil the sausages and drain. Grate them using the vegetable grater.
Grind the ginger, curry leaves and chillies into a paste without adding water.
Combine the mashed potatoes, grated sausages, the ground paste, minced onion, salt and garam masala in a bowl.
Mix well till all ingredients are incorporated. Shape into patties.
Dip into the beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs. Shallow fry in pan till both sides turn golden brown. Serve warm with ketchup!
