Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1250 gm chicken cut into meduim sized pieces
  • 250 ml buttermilk laban
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp thyme zatar
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • After cutting the chicken into peices, make big stashes.
  • Combine all ingredients from buttermilk to salt in a deep pan. Soak the chicken into it. Allow to marinate overnight or at least for two hours.
  • Heat oil and deep fry the pieces till done OR if you have an air fryer, then "fry" it at 180 degrees for 12 minutes on each side. Healthy frying! :)
