Beat the softened butter and brown sugar till creamy.
Add the milk and baking powder and beat for a minute.
Add the flour and mix well. The batter will not be thick.
Carefully shape as a log and wrap in a wax paper. Chill for at least 2 hours. I kept it in the fridge overnight.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Take out the roll from the paper and cut into 1/4 inch thick pieces. Makes around 16.
Line on a baking sheet. Ensure to keep sufficient space as these cookies spread out.
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes till golden. Allow to cool. As they sit, they harden.
Just take a couple of them and dip it into cold milk - pure bliss! :)
