Baked Mushroom Cutlet

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 medium onions minced
  • 4 green chillies minced
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 250 gm mushroom washed and sliced
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs beaten with a generous dash of white pepper
  • Bread crumbs as required

Instructions

  • Heat oil, Saute the ginger garlic paste.
  • Saute the onion and chilli till soft. Add the powdesr and saute for a minute.
  • Add the mushrooms till soft and all water evaporates.
  • Add the potatoes and toss. Add garam masala powder, mix well and switch off.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a baking tray and set aside.
  • Shape into patties, makes around 10-12. Generously coat in egg and then roll into the breadcrumbs.
  • Place on the greased tray. Brush oil on the top.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, flip the other side and bake another 15 minutes.
  • Serve warm with ketchup or chilli sauce.
