Almond Butter Maple Granola

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Keep a baking sheet ready.
  • Melt the butter and syrup on low flame till it becomes a smooth mixture. Whisk in the vanilla and salt.
  • Pour over the oats and toss to coat well. Spread on the sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
  • Cool and enjoy with your choice of milk or yogurt.

Notes

Add your choice of add-ons as you wish. You may add nuts to the mixture before toasting in the oven. If you wish to add goji berries (like I did) or chocolate chips, then toss them in once cool.
