Wash and drain the fish fillet. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the fillet.
Heat a little oil in a fry pan and shallow fry both sides for a couple of minutes or till done.
Take out into a plate, allow to cool, then using a fork, shred them.
Combine all ingredients from potatoes to garam masala in a bowl. Add the shredded fish.
Mix well to combine, adjust the seasoning at this stage.
Shape into patties, dip in the beaten eggs and coat sparingly with bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a frying pan, just enough to shallow fry. Fry both sides till golden brown.
Serve as is or with ketchup!
