Quinoa Breakfast Porridge

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp raw sugar
  • Dried figs and almonds for topping


  • Wash the quinoa well and let to drain.
  • Boil water in a saucepan. Add the quinoa and cook till it absorbs all the water and plumps up, looking like pearls.
  • Add in the milk, cinnamon and raw sugar and cook till homogeneous.
  • Server warm or cold with the toppings.
