Green Apple Milkshake

  • 1 large green apple peeled and cored
  • 2 cups chilled milk
  • 5-6 drops pistachio essence
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar


  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blitz till smooth.
  • Run the mixture through a sieve and press down the apple residue to extract as much as juice possible. Discard the residue.
  • Serve cold.


You can add some plumped up basil seeds (tukmalinga) to spruce up this drink.
