French Toast

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 10-12 slices of bread
  • Butter for toasting


  • Whisk the dry ingredients till well combined.
  • Add in the milk, eggs and vanilla essence and whisk till the whole mixture is well combined and the sugar is melted.
  • Heat a frying pan with a blob of butter.
  • When the butter is melting, dip the bread into the egg mixture till nicely coated.
  • Fry both sides till golden brown. Repeat till the egg mixture is finished.
  • Serve warm with honey, cream or as is!


Increase the cinnamon if you love its flavor.
