Pomegranate Watermelon Lassi

Most of us have Iftar gatherings during this holy month. The whole point is to keep it quick and simple – without spending so much time in the kitchen, and having no time to take advantage of the precious moments reserved for this month. A little slide on the importance of providing Iftar to another person. I personally feel that it is better to sponsor an Iftar as it makes you feel stress free and InShaAllah, gives the blessings associated with it:

The second in the series of 3-lassis… and that too with two of my favorite fruits… I have juiced both these fruits only as a pomegranate juice and watermelon milkshake. This lassi is a little bit of work but the final result is just too good to resist. Since my kids love both these fruits, it was easy for me to serve this lassi to them, as they are usually not very interested in having their fruits juiced. It is such a refreshing drink to have for Iftar or even for Suhoor, all you need to do it is prepare the base early as possible and prepare the lassi when the time is nearer! Off to the recipe…
