Papaya Chia Overnight Smoothie

Pin

After the Chocolate Chia Pudding and the Laban Overnight Oats, here is the third overnight breakfast idea, for the Blogging Marathon #84 under the theme “New Year Challenges”.

I have already shared an overnight smoothie recipe before. Like I mentioned in that post, an overnight smoothie is for people who want to eat oats but not in its bite format as is in most of the overnight oats. I had made this smoothie when I landed up with a papaya which was hardly sweet enough to keep in the mouth! I love papayas and each time I get a chance to eat it, I would have one whole without even sharing it! I have now one competition in the form of Rasha – I discovered her love for papaya this time when we were on vacation. She literally snatched the last piece of papaya right out of her mouth to eat. 😉

The papaya lends a pretty color to the overnight smoothie and a lovely texture too. The best part about breakfast like these are that you can be in your own world, doing your work, while you have spoonfuls of your breakfast. I don’t know how good a habit it is not to be involved in eating, but most of the time, I don’t get time to really enjoy and eat my food. I guess it’s a sad state for many of us, but better to eat it rather than miss breakfast totally! What say? 😉

If you are wondering about those books, they are my scrap books which are filled with recipe cut-outs, which are “God knows” how old. 😉 One of my targets this year is to actually flip through my cut-outs and try maximum recipes as possible, provided that my weight loss is positive and my diet allows me to. 😀 So let’s move to the recipe? 🙂
