Life has been a mad rush for the past couple of weeks. Long drives, lot of moving around, lack of sleep coupled up with work is not helping me much, but I am enjoying the time till it is around. Sometimes, we appreciate what was ours only once it is passed, right? Having learned that lesson several times, trying to make the best of the day with the whole family around and making it as much enjoyable as I can… 🙂
I love salmon, even though it is comparitively expensive to other fish. Once in a while, I buy fillet and sear it with salt and pepper, and have it loaded up with lots of salad – totally delicious. But as soon as I saw this post on FB by one of my favorite blogs, Blessings From My Kitchen (she had done a guest post for me eons ago, remember? 🙂 ), I had to try it. And what’s not in it? The ground masala is the highlight! So tenderly flavored, and doesn’t take away anything from the salmon. You can use any thick fish to replace the salmon, but I guess it is the salmon that carries this marinade so well! Since it is baked wrapped in foil, you lose nothing off it and the whole dish stays nice and juicy! Off to the recipe…

I am very very bad with recognising the type of fish! and have never made any till today. I love to eat though! 😛 I am blessed F is not a seafood person, so I am spared! I had my share of seafood while in Baharain! Never seen a green fish and that too baked! 🙂 You are a true foodie!
Haha… should I tell you sometimes I get confused between sardine and mackerel, especially when some sardines are as huge as a mackerel at times? Buhaha… The only fish I recognise anytime is kingfish… 😉 Thank you so much Fami, trying to keep my foodie soul alive… 😀
