Spiced Honey Mug Cake

  • ¼ cup flour + 2 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 3 tbsp oil (I used canola oil)
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch salt
  • A pinch vanilla essence
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ⅛ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  1. Dump all the ingredients one after the other into a large ramekin and whisk until well incorporated.
  2. Microwave it on high for 2-3 minutes. (Mine is a 1000w microwave and was done in 2 minutes).
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar or icing sugar on top and dig in!!!
Adjust sugar and honey as per your sweetness.
Spices are upto you. As you can see in the recipe, cloves and nutmeg can be added. Since I don't like cloves and I didn't have nutmeg, I went for whatever I had in my pantry.
