Cookie Butter Granola

  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup wheat germ
  • ¼ cup milled flax
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, loosely packed
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup cookie butter spread (Biscoff)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Keep a large baking pan ready.
  2. In a bowl, combine from oats to salt and whisk well.
  3. Add the honey and cookie butter into a bowl and microwave in batches of 30 seconds till melted. Whisk well to combine.
  4. Add in the brown sugar and whisk till melted. Add in the vanilla.
  5. Add this into the dry ingredients and mix well to coat. Spread on the baking pan.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  7. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
