  • 5 small bananas, ripe (I used njalipoovan)
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp malted drink powder (I used Horlicks)
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth.
  2. Serve immediately!
Use any small variety of banana for authentic taste.
If your blender is strong enough, use frozen milk.
You can add nuts of your choice or completely omit it.
A dash of cardamom can also be added as optional.
Instead of Horlicks, you can use Boost or the like. Even adding a dash of coffee sounds interesting.
