Red Velvet Mug Cake

  • 4 tbsp milk
  • ¼ tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Two drops of red color
  • Chocolate chips if needed
  1. Add the milk and the vinegar in a mug. Give it a whisk and let it sit for 5 minutes till curdled.
  2. Add the oil and sugar and whisk till homogeneous.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix till no lumps. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  4. Microwave for 1½ to 2 minutes till done.
  5. Rest for a minute and dig in.
