Qahwa ~ Emirati Black Coffee

  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp heaped coffee powder (Arabica roasted)
  • 3 crushed cardamom
  1. Bring the water to boil along with the cardamom.
  2. Add the coffee powder and allow it to simmer for five minutes. Switch off and leave for a couple of minutes.
  3. Strain into a dallah and serve warm in small coffee cups along with dates.
