Chocolate Honey Granola

  • 500 gm old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup (50 gm) melted butter
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips well. Spread on a large tray.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes. Take out the tray and give it a good stir.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Take out the the tray, give it a stir and sprinkle in the chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for another 10 minutes.
  6. Stir completely and allow to cool, before storing in an air tight container.
Please feel free to add any additionals of your choice, like chopped almonds, dried fruits, etc. I love my granola without anything extra so that I can vary the toppings to my liking.
