There was this post I was reading, and I thought I must share it here as I strongly believe in it:

Sometimes, all it takes to cheer up a person is a kind word of appreciation of a good quality that he has. I feel that in today’s world, people have become really miserly with expressing appreciation. Even though by mind we may think good of the person opposite to us, we take a backward step in admiting it to them. What do we loose by doing so, I fail to understand. There are times when such an action from us is enough to raise that particular person from the throngs of depression into a positive outlook. Or it may have been a bad day for them, and that statement turns out to be a silver lining of hope for them. The goodness is many… let us indulge in it… 🙂

Coming to a simpler recipe after the Cookie Butter Cake post… In this 3 back-to-back, I was a little confused as to whether to select this post. My love for shrikand has no bounds. I only need a sweetened thick yogurt, with some cardamom, rose water and nuts to make me happy and complete! After having a successful trial of the Nutella Shrikand, this was a natural try – especially when you have a Biscoff bottle that doesn’t have enough to spread on toast or make anything with it! 😉

My worry was the same as I had for the Nutella one – would the flavors match? Alhamdulillah, it did… I allowed it a bit more of a rest than I would have normally done and it blended in perfectly. B and I finished off that one bowl by drawing a border in the center, hehe… Sometimes, you need to do that to ensure that you get a fair share of what you are eating! 😉 Off to the recipe…
